Ingredients
• 10–15 g dried chaga chunks per 1 L filtered water
• Optional: honey, lemon, cinnamon, ginger
Method 1 – Hot Water Infusion (Quick Method)
1. Break chaga into 0.2-1 cm pieces.
2. Place chunks in a teapot or heatproof jar.
3. Pour freshly boiled water over the chunks (do not boil them directly).
4. Cover and steep 15–30 min.
5. Strain & serve.
6. Chunks can be reused 2–3 times until pale.
Method 2 – Traditional Boil/Simmer
1. Break chaga into 0.2–1 cm pieces.
2. Place chunks in a stainless steel or glass pot with cold filtered water.
3. Heat slowly until just below boiling.
4. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 1–3 hours.
5. Strain & serve.
6. Reuse chunks 2–3 times until pale.
Method 3 – Cold Brew (Antioxidant Rich)
1. Break chaga into small pieces.
2. Combine with cold filtered water in a glass jar.
3. Refrigerate 12–24 hrs, stirring occasionally.
4. Strain & enjoy chilled or gently warmed (do not boil).
5. Store for up to 5 days in the fridge.
Tip: For richer flavor, do a double brew — reuse the same chaga for a second batch until the tea
becomes light brown.
